The ECOM6-5900 Series are mag-mount versions of the ECO Series omni-directional antennas.
They operate on the DSRC 5.9 GHz frequency band and are ideal for ITS trials. These antennas are free space designs and ground plane independent. In addition, place them on any surface.
The ECOM6-5900 use low loss 195 cable to improve efficiency. The vertical radomes are black fiberglass with an ASA base assembly. All ECOM antennas are weatherproof.
The antennas have a 2.6″” (66 mm) diameter base and use a strong commercial magnet. A scratch resistant covering is provided on the bottom of the antenna to protect the vehicle. The Mag-mount antennas come with 10 feet (3 m) of cable and an SMA plug (male) connectors. However, other cable lengths and other connectors are available.
