The IW-5900 is a window mounted DSRC vehicle antenna. The innovative radome design provides internal element tilt to match the angle of the vehicle windshield for optimal performance in a mobile setting.
This compact DSRC antenna mounts inside the vehicle. In addition, the antenna attaches with a strong double sided bonding tape. There will be no need for hole drills in the vehicle, which makes it a popular choice for DSRC trials using personal vehicles.
Furthermore, the antenna element is directly against the glass of the vehicle, facing outward. The cable exits near the top side allowing direct entry into the vehicle headliner. This antenna measures: 1 5/8″ H x 1 5/8″ W x 7/8″ D (41 mm x 41 mm x 22 mm).
