They focus a signal to a particular area and can be designed to allow for maximum adjustment in a relatively attractive package. Design techniques for manufacturing these antennas vary considerably. Excellent performance is obtained by using printed circuit board technology and in some instances, stamped and formed patch elements. Most of our panels are designed for outdoor use. Indoor applications require a less robust design without regard for common corrosion, moisture and ultraviolet damage. Our standard panels feature epoxy powder-coated aluminum mounting plates. The ability to completely adjust for any angle of radiation usually depends on the mount system used. Gain is generally dependent on the element configuration of the panel. Number of elements will impact both the gain and the pattern that results when using a given antenna.
