Mounting Accessories to Facilitate Installation of the LTM Series Antennas

Antenna Installation Options for the Ford Police Interceptor Utility

Police Interceptor Antenna Spacer Gasket

The Ford Police Interceptor Utility, Ford’s new version of the Explorer Police vehicle, is gaining in popularity among police agencies.

Agencies that are upgrading their vehicles are also likely to upgrade their communications systems.  For high speed data transmissions, MIMO (multiple-input-multiple-output) systems are the way to go.

Mobile Mark’s LTM series offers the most robust, highest performance MIMO systems available.  These antennas can provide MIMO coverage for Cellular LTE (or FirstNet 700 MHz) as well as MIMO WiFi and GPS.

The ridges on the Ford Police Interceptor Utility require a special mounting adapter for mobile antennas.  Any antenna wider than 5-inches will not sit solidly on the main part of the roof.

That is why Mobile Mark has developed the Interceptor Utility Spacer Gasket which allows the antenna to be seated solidly on the vehicle’s roof.  The Spacer Gasket is easy to use and requires no special tools to install.

The Gasket is customized for the LTM Series to match the exact physical characteristics needed for optimal installation.

With the Interceptor Utility Spacer Gasket, police agencies can upgrade their communications systems and select an LTM Series Antenna suited for their specific application; they will have the electrical and mechanical performance needed for the newest communications technologies.
