Dual 8×8 MIMO for High-Density Transit and Fleet Connectivity

The LTXG1788 carries two full eight-element arrays in a single antenna: eight cellular paths and eight Wi-Fi 6E/7 paths, both 8×8 MIMO-capable, alongside active GNSS. Vehicles that serve many connected passengers and onboard systems at once get backhaul and local Wi-Fi capacity from one roof penetration.

Configurable for One Carrier or Several

The eight cellular elements configure as one 8×8, two 4×4 or four 2×2 MIMO connections. Integrators can dedicate the full array to one high-throughput carrier link or assign separate connections to multiple carriers on the same vehicle.

Eight-Element Wi-Fi 6E/7 Coverage

Eight Wi-Fi elements span 2.4–2.5 GHz and 4.9–7.2 GHz with 5 dBi peak gain, covering Wi-Fi 6E and extending into the 6 GHz range for Wi-Fi 7 equipment. The array supports dense onboard access-point deployments without adding a second antenna.

Coverage for the Next Radio or Carrier

Cellular coverage spans 617–960 MHz and 1710–7200 MHz, accommodating a wide range of LTE and 5G Sub-6 carrier bands. When a fleet upgrades modems or switches carriers, the installed antenna is less likely to need replacement.

Sealed for Road and Rail Duty

The UV-stable ASA housing carries an IP67 rating when properly mounted and resists moisture, temperature changes and constant movement. It is qualified to IEEE 1478, EN 61373 and MIL-STD-810G shock and vibration, and operates from −40°C to +80°C.
