Designed for vehicle systems that depend on broadband data and positioning, the MXG944 combines nine antenna elements in a narrow surface-mount fin. Four 5G/LTE elements and four Wi-Fi 6E/Bluetooth elements support 4×4 MIMO for both network types, while the active GNSS element covers GPS, Galileo, GLONASS, QZSS, and BeiDou.
Cellular coverage spans 617–960 MHz and 1710–7200 MHz, while Wi-Fi coverage spans 2.4–2.5 GHz and 4.9–7.2 GHz. This spectrum range supports current 5G/LTE and Wi-Fi 6E vehicle routers while giving system designers flexibility to accommodate compatible equipment changes. The architecture addresses demanding public safety, fleet, and transit communications within the narrow, aerodynamic MX-series form factor.
All nine elements fit within a 9-inch-long radome, including installations between the roof ridges of a Ford Police Interceptor SUV. IP67 protection when properly mounted and documented shock and vibration qualifications support dependable vehicle service. Standard SMA and reverse-polarity SMA interfaces are available, with a Fakra configuration offered for compatible equipment.
