Separate Wireless Roles. Flexible Vehicle Placement.
The SMWG-304 serves mobile systems that need a dedicated 2.4 GHz connection and a second path for dual-band Wi-Fi or DSRC. Active GNSS and ground-plane-independent operation extend the three-port antenna to a wider range of mounting surfaces.
Independent Wireless Connections: One element is dedicated to 2400–2485 MHz, while the second covers 2.4–2.5 and 4.9–6.0 GHz for compatible dual-band Wi-Fi or DSRC equipment.
No RF Ground Plane Required: The antenna can operate without relying on the mounting surface as an RF ground plane, expanding placement options on nonmetal panels and enclosures.
Active GNSS Built In: A separate GNSS element supports navigation, tracking, and timing without adding another exterior antenna.
Compact Environmental Protection: The IP67-rated UV-resistant ASA housing helps shield all three connections from dust and water in vehicle installations.
The SMWG-304 keeps two wireless roles and GNSS separate while allowing more flexibility in selecting a vehicle mounting surface.
