SMWG-406 (Cellular, AWS, WiFi, GNSS)

Cellular, AWS, Wi-Fi, and GNSS Antenna

The SMWG-406 is a four-connection vehicle antenna for multi-radio gateways that need separate cellular, AWS/high-band, Wi-Fi/broadband, and GNSS paths.

Key Features

  • Separates three data-radio roles for flexible equipment integration.
  • Covers compatible AWS/UMTS, Wi-Fi, public-safety, and transportation services.
  • Adds active GNSS for navigation, tracking, and timing.
  • Consolidates four connections in one IP67-rated surface mount.

Customization: Cable type, cable length, and connectors can be configured for specific installation requirements.

Product Description

Four Dedicated Paths for Complex Vehicle Gateways.

The SMWG-406 organizes a broadband cellular connection, a second AWS/high-band path, a third Wi-Fi or specialty-radio path, and active GNSS inside one compact vehicle antenna. Each function remains independently cabled for multi-radio equipment layouts.

Dedicated Cellular Service: The primary element covers 800–1250 and 1650–2700 MHz for compatible mobile equipment.

Two Additional Radio Roles: A 1.7–2.7 GHz path serves compatible AWS or UMTS equipment, while a separate 2.1–2.5 and 4.4–6.0 GHz path covers Wi-Fi and specialty services.

Active GNSS Positioning: The fourth connection supplies navigation, tracking, and timing without requiring another exterior antenna.

Compact Multi-Radio Protection: All four paths pass through one IP67-rated UV-resistant ASA housing, reducing separate antenna bodies and helping protect internal components.

The SMWG-406 fits vehicle gateways that need three distinct data-radio connections plus active GNSS from one roof mount.

Ideal Applications

  • Multi-radio fleet gateways
  • Public-safety vehicles
  • AWS and UMTS equipment
  • Mobile specialty-radio systems
  • Vehicle tracking platforms
