Antenna Environmental Testing Featuring the RM-WB1

New antenna designs are evaluated for more than RF performance. During product development, Mobile Mark stress tests antennas to assess how the design responds to mechanical and environmental stress, followed by RF testing to evaluate performance after the test sequence.

The RM-WB1 has been used to illustrate several stages of the product journey, including design iteration, production, and shipping. In this video, it serves as an example of the testing stage. The antenna goes through test preparation and axis marking, simulated shock and vibration, repeated impact testing, water and dust exposure, and a post-test RF performance evaluation.

Specific testing varies by product and design requirements. The video demonstrates Mobile Mark’s testing process and does not represent certification to a specific standard.
