Itasca, IL – May 24, 2017 – The new low profile LLP202 adds yet another MIMO Cellular and 4G LTE antenna to the Mobile Mark product lineup.

What makes the LLP202 stand out from other surface mounted antennas is that it has a significantly reduced profile radome.  Even with the reduction in size, the LLP202 still has full capability for Global LTE on the 694-960 MHz and 1710-3700 MHz bands.  Gain for the LLP202 ranges from -1 to 4 dBi depending on the frequency being used.

With the LLP series, customers can expect performance comparable to Mobile Mark’s LTM series antennas with significantly smaller dimensions. Measuring 9” (22.8 cm) by 3.5” (8.9 cm) in diameter with a profile of 1.25” (31.8 mm), the overall footprint is significantly less compared to a multiple antenna setup.

The LLP202 mounts to metal surfaces with a drilled through hole, allowing the cables to exit. This antenna is ground plane dependent, meaning that a metal ground plane is required for optimal performance. Mobile Mark specifications for the LLP are measured with a one inch ground plane and once inch of cable. The LLP202 is currently only available with a through hole mounting stud instead of an optional magnet mount.

The LLP202 is available in either white or black, and is made from CNC machined UV-Stable ASA plastic. It terminates with an SMA connector attached to RF-195 cable by default, however other configurations are also available. Like many of Mobile Marks popular surface mounted antennas, the LLP passes several shock, vibration, and environmental tests. It is IP67 rated for water ingress, and is also certified for MIL-810G military environmental testing.

Other antennas in the LLP family include the LLPG302, LLPG402, LLPG502, and LLPG602. There is also a seven cable variant, the LLPG702 with two connections for Global LTE (694-3700 MHz), four connections for WiFi (2400-2500, 5000-6000 MHz), and one GPS connection (1575 MHz).

With capability for a full range of MIMO connections, the LLP series has a configuration for a wide variety of wireless applications. When only two LTE MIMO connections are needed, the LLP202 is the ideal choice for a low profile Cellular and 4G LTE antenna that does not compromise on performance.
