MOBILE MARK’S “SHARK FIN” STYLE MXFG508 ANTENNA OPERATES ON 4G LTE/5G CELLULAR, GNSS, AND NOW WIFI 6E
Itasca, IL – October 3rd, 2022 — Mobile Mark introduces the new MXFG508 Multiband 4G LTE/5G Cellular, Wi-Fi 6E, and GNSS Antenna.
Mobile Mark’s MXFG508 antenna is the newest addition to the popular MaxFin Series multiband antennas. This antenna provides true 4G LTE/5G, Sub-6, 600-6000 MHz coverage.
The antenna contains 5 antenna elements: 2x5G, 2x WiFi and 1x GNSS in a single compact housing. This configuration provides MIMO coverage on both the 4G LTE/5G and WiFi 6E elements.
The MXFG508 is compatible with NextGen 5G Cellular Mobile Routers that are designed for high speed, large data transfers using 5G, but is also backwards compatible for 4G LTE systems. This compact antenna measures 7.50” long, 2.50” tall and only 2.25” wide.
This may be the smallest “shark fin” style antenna in the industry. Its slim form factor is particularly well suited for Police Vehicles because the antenna fits neatly between the roof ribs on a Ford Explorer or Interceptor. It has also been very well received in settings where a sleek, aerodynamic profile is preferred such as a fleet of passenger vehicles or vans.
This antenna series is available as a surface mount antenna (Model: MXFG508) or a magnet mount antenna (Model: MMXFG508).
It is typically configured with a GNSS antenna for coverage in GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou, but it can also be configured with just the GPS only antenna (Model: MXF508).
The MaxFin antennas are designed and manufactured in our Itasca, IL factory and are proudly Made-in-the-USA.
