Sr. Insights & eCommerce Marketing Specialist

Mobile Mark, Inc., a global organization and a leading U.S. manufacturer of high-performance wireless antennas, is seeking a Sr. Insights and eCommerce Marketing Specialist. Reporting to the Vice President of Marketing, this role drives growth through eCommerce management, market research, customer insights, competitive intelligence, marketing analytics, and emerging AI technologies. The ideal candidate is analytical, resourceful, and able to translate market data into clear recommendations and measurable actions.

Key Responsibilities

eCommerce & Digital Commerce Management

  • Manage and improve the eCommerce platform and digital customer experience.
  • Oversee online product assortment, merchandising, pricing, promotions, and positioning.
  • Track online sales, conversion, traffic, customer behavior, and key KPIs.
  • Improve site experience, product discovery, customer journey, and conversion.

Market Research & Consumer Insights

  • Conduct primary and secondary research to identify opportunities, needs, trends, and risks.
  • Use quantitative and qualitative methods to gather and interpret market intelligence.
  • Analyze feedback, surveys, industry data, and other sources to develop insights.
  • Translate findings into clear recommendations for the organization and key stakeholders.
  • Build repeatable research processes to monitor customer and market changes.

Competitive Intelligence & Market Trends

  • Monitor competitors, pricing, positioning, distribution, marketing activity, and digital presence.
  • Identify market trends, emerging technologies, customer behaviors, and competitive threats.
  • Prepare competitive intelligence reports and executive market updates.
  • Track key industries and customer segments served by the company.
  • Identify whitespace opportunities in markets, products, applications, and customer segments.

Data Analysis, Business Intelligence & Reporting

  • Analyze sales, eCommerce, customer, market, and marketing data to identify trends and gaps.
  • Develop dashboards, reports, presentations, and executive insights.
  • Use Excel and Microsoft Office for analysis, reporting, modeling, and presentations.
  • Use BI, visualization, and analytics tools to simplify complex information.
  • Establish KPIs and measurement frameworks for marketing and eCommerce initiatives.
  • Turn complex datasets into concise, actionable recommendations.

AI, Marketing Technology & Automation

  • Identify and implement AI-assisted research, analytics, content, and decision-support opportunities.
  • Use AI to accelerate research, competitive analysis, data interpretation, reporting, and workflows.

Project Management & Process Improvement

  • Lead cross-functional marketing, eCommerce, research, analytics, and technology projects.
  • Define objectives, timelines, responsibilities, deliverables, and measures of success.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to execute projects.
  • Improve marketing and eCommerce processes, workflows, and operational efficiency.
  • Serve as an internal expert on market intelligence, eCommerce, analytics, and emerging marketing technologies.

Communication and Content Creation

  • Ability to effectively present information to management and stakeholders.
  • Fluent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Assist with aligning communication efforts to ensure consistent global content and messaging.
  • Strong business writing and verbal communication skills.
  • Contribute to marketing promotions and media creations, including video.

Required Skills, Qualifications and Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, eCommerce, or a related field.
  • 6–10 years of experience in eCommerce, digital marketing, market research, customer insights, business intelligence, or a related field.
  • Strong analytical, research, and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to translate findings into actionable business recommendations.
  • Advanced skills with Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and WordPress.
  • Experience creating dashboards, reports, presentations, and executive insights.
  • Familiarity with BI, visualization, and analytics platforms.
  • Experience with quantitative and qualitative research methods.
  • Strong understanding of digital commerce, customer behavior, and omnichannel marketing.
  • Experience using AI tools to improve research, analysis, marketing, or business processes.
  • Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Travel Requirements

  • Occasional domestic travel is required in support of trade shows and customer events.
  • Ability to lift 20–40 lbs. during attendance at trade shows.

Work Setting: Hybrid

  • In-office/home location in Itasca, Illinois, USA.
  • Must be legally authorized to work on an unrestricted basis as a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident.

Compensation

Base salary of $90,000–$100,000 depending on experience, plus semiannual incentive opportunities.

Mobile Mark is seeking an experienced Field Applications Engineer (FAE) to provide technical sales support for our customers, distribution partners, and sales team.

Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Field Applications Engineer serves as the technical bridge between Mobile Mark customers and Mobile Mark’s Engineering, Product Management, and Sales departments. This role focuses on understanding customer application requirements, recommending optimal antenna solutions, supporting product evaluations, and helping customers successfully integrate Mobile Mark products into their wireless systems.

The ideal candidate combines strong RF engineering knowledge with excellent communication skills and enjoys working directly with customers to solve challenging technical problems.

Responsibilities:

Customer Technical Support

  • Serve as the primary technical resource for customers, distributors, and the sales team.
  • Understand customer system requirements and recommend appropriate antenna solutions.
  • Support customers throughout product evaluation, design, testing, and deployment.
  • Troubleshoot antenna performance and installation issues in collaboration with Engineering.
  • Provide timely technical responses to customer inquiries.

Application Engineering

  • Analyze customer applications and recommend standard products or coordinate custom antenna solutions with Engineering.
  • Provide guidance to customers with antenna placement, installation, grounding, cable selection, and RF performance optimization.
  • Support customer validation testing and provide technical recommendations.

Sales Support

  • Partner with all geographic Sales Managers and distributors during customer visits.
  • Deliver technical product demonstrations and application training.
  • Participate in customer design reviews and specification discussions.
  • Help identify opportunities for new products and emerging applications.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Act as the technical liaison between customers and Mobile Mark Engineering.
  • Provide customer feedback to Engineering and Product Management to influence future product development.
  • Collaborate with Marketing to develop technical literature, application notes, white papers, and training materials.

Product & Market Expertise

  • Maintain expert knowledge of Mobile Mark’s antenna portfolio.
  • Stay current on wireless technologies including 5G, LTE, Wi-Fi, GNSS, Public Safety, FirstNet, IoT, and Private LTE.
  • Monitor competitive products and industry trends.
  • Attend and support industry conferences and customer events.

Travel: Travel to customer sites, distributor locations, trade shows, and Mobile Mark facilities as

required (approximately 30–40%, including overnight travel).

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related engineering discipline.
  • Minimum 5–10 years of experience in RF, wireless communications, antenna systems, or field applications engineering.
  • Working knowledge of antenna theory, RF propagation, cable loss, impedance matching, and wireless system design.
  • Experience supporting customers in technical sales environments.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills.
  • Ability to explain complex technical concepts to both engineers and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using RF test equipment (network analyzers, spectrum analyzers, etc.) is preferred.

Work Setting: Hybrid (Itasca, IL, US)

Compensation: Estimated total compensation is $100,000–$140,000 annually, depending on experience, plus incentive opportunities.
