Sales Administrative Assistant

The Sales Administrative Assistant will assist the Sales staff with growth and organization of the sales department. The Sales Support Representative must be organized and proficient progressive thinker with a positive attitude that wants to learn and grow professionally. Must have sense of urgency, think creatively and strategically. This person must have the ability to multitask and think independently. This position reports directly to the VP of Sales. This is an entry level position.

 

Specific responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to:

 

  • Assist Sales Department on customer requests and tasks; including order status and expediting
  • Track and monitor orders for late status / trouble items; including the review of reports and updating the Account Manager
  • Trade Show Follow up; including follow-up calls to contacts at the instruction of the Account Manager
  • Cold calling; reaching out to prior and new leads via phone, as well as web searches for contact information
  • Work with Sales and Marketing to create training templates; including PowerPoint and GoToMeetings
  • CRM updating – Update missing fields/clean up database; solicit Account Manager’s feedback
  • Responsible for updating price lists and other sales related documents; including Word and Excel
  • Constant Contact / database follow-ups – Phone or email – Clean up rejected emails
  • Competitor Research; including web research for products and financial information
  • Check stock on products…or provide lead times for projects by interfacing with Operations
  • Monitor and maintain Estore inquiries and orders
  • Assist in scheduling trips and travel arrangements for the sales department
  • Order processing; including writing up orders, confirming models, looking up and confirming pricing
  • Special projects and other assigned tasks

 

Specific Job Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalency
  • 2+ years of customer service or sales support experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
  • Good organizational skills & follow through; Self-starter
  • Basic administrative skills
  • Knowledge of Excel/Word/Outlook/PC Systems
  • Bi-lingual a plus
