Mobile Mark’s New Antenna Infrastructure Mounting Bracket allows 2xMIMO installation for Sub-6 Log Periodic Antennas

Itasca, October 20, 2019 – Mobile Mark Antenna Company now offers a 2xMIMO (Multiple-Input-Multiple-Output) infrastructure solutions for Sub-6 networks from 600-6000 MHz.

The solution is a dual antenna and mounting system which is rugged, compact and easy to install. The two Log Periodic (Yagi style) antennas are attached to the bracket in a set position to create dual slant 45° MIMO coverage (one antenna is slanted 45-degrees to the left and the other 45-degrees to the right). This configuration helps reduce interference and improve coverage in congested signal areas. The complete package, consisting of two antennas and a mounting bracket, is identified as Y42700WB-2X.

In additional to providing an easy to use MIMO infrastructure solution, this antenna also provides the ultimate in Cellular coverage. The Y42700WB Log Periodic Antenna from Mobile Mark Antenna Solutions provides wideband Sub-5 frequency coverage from 600-6000 MHz. The antennas provide 14 dBi gain from 600-4200 MHz and 6 dBi gain from 4200-6000 MHz.

With coverage across all Cellular bands, the antenna can be used for any Cellular or LTE application, including CBRS Private LTE networks from 3550-3700 MHz, Band 71 installation at 617-698 MHz, or Fixed Site LTE-M or NB-IoT networks at multiple narrow band allocations.

According to Michael Berry, Mobile Mark’s President & CEO, “As CBRS at 3.7 GHz and Band 71 at 600 MHz open up, we know that a lot of wireless developers are looking for reliable infrastructure antennas. The Y42700WB-2X provides a practical and easy-to-use MIMO configuration.”

The compact Y42700WB antenna, only 18.5” long and 8.5” high (47 cm x 22 cm), features a log-periodic design with 9 elements. Its heavy-duty construction includes an aluminum boom with solid welded elements and an enclosed feed for outstanding environmental stability.

The antenna features a Front-to-Back ratio of 20 dB, with Horizontal and Vertical Beamwidth of 40°. It can handle up to 150 Watts of power and has a wind loading rating of 125 mph.

The antenna is Made-in-the-USA. Berry added, “We are particularly proud of the fact that these antennas are designed and manufactured in our Itasca, Illinois factory.”
