The A1483 Series Antenna has 3 dB gain. This premium antenna featuring a 5/8 wave over 1/4 wave design.
These antennas are manufactured using the finest corrosion resistant materials and finishes available. It is supplied with a triple plated chrome nut and polished whip assembly.
This is the industry standard cellular and SMR antenna. The A1483 Series has been modified to provide a more robust design.
The spring loaded contact housing is larger and will withstand greater impact without failing. The spring action has been redesigned for smoother operation and resistance to seizing which plagued some of the earlier designs.
These antennas mate with a standard TAD/NMO type mount, providing an excellent moisture seal even when the antenna is removed.
