5 GHz WiFi Dome Antenna

The DM2-5500 provides 5–6 GHz omnidirectional coverage in a compact surface-mount dome that does not require a ground plane.

  • Operates from 5–6 GHz with 2.5 dBi gain.
  • Uses a gasketed 5/8-inch feed-through for roof, trunk, bulkhead, or enclosure mounting.
  • Includes a one-foot RF-195 pigtail with an SMA plug.

Product Description

The DM2-5500 is a single-band 5 GHz antenna for installations where the radio connection must remain outside a vehicle or equipment housing. Its 5–6 GHz range includes common 5 GHz WiFi channels while retaining a low 1.5-inch profile.

Because the element does not require a ground plane, the dome can be installed on fiberglass and plastic as well as metal panels.
