The SMWG-PTC Series Antenna was designed for PTC (Positive Train Control) applications, Such as: Train-to-wayside communication.
Furthermore, built and designed with heavy duty construction, it can survive the rigors of railroad use. In addition, this antenna uses our popular SMW Series platform to combine PTC with WiFi and GNSS. GNSS operates on GPS, Galileo, Glonass, QZSS or Beidou.
As with our other SMWG antennas, the SMWG-PTC contains 3-elements, 3-cables, all within the same radome.
The first element covers 220-220 MHz.
The second element covers 2.4-2.5 GHz.
Finally, the third covers GNSS at 1561, 1575, & 1602 MHz.
