What are Yagi Antennas?
Fun Fact: In the late 1920s, Shintaro Uda developed the concept of using multiple parasitic elements to focus radio waves. His colleague, Hidetsugu Yagi, helped refine and promote the design internationally, which is why the antenna became commonly known as the Yagi rather than the Uda. First described in academic papers around 1926–1928, the antenna quickly gained recognition for its efficiency and simplicity, and by the 1930s, it was already being used in practical radio and early television applications worldwide.

The Y3315C Series steps up performance with five fully welded elements, boosting gain to 9 dBd across the 144–174 MHz frequency range. It’s constructed with a 1″ aluminum U channel with 3/8″ solid elements fully welded and polyester powder coating, making it a heavy-duty Yagi antenna.

Y3347D Series
For long-distance communication in UHF bands, the Y3347D Series delivers strong 10.4 dBd gain across 406–512 MHz with its seven-element design. Its rugged, fully welded construction and field-turnable design ensure both performance and adaptability in demanding installations.

Y42700WB
The Y42700WB is a wideband antenna that covers a massive 600 MHz to 6 GHz span, offering 14 dBi at lower frequencies and 6 dBi in the upper ranges. The nine-element log-periodic design is housed in a hybrid radome for long-term durability and easy single-person installation, even in high-wind environments.
