Schiller Park, IL, November 4, 2009 – Mobile Mark, Inc., a privately-held Chicago-based company, announces the appointment of Michael K. Berry as the company’s new President and Chief Executive Officer.  Mr. Berry succeeds Irwin S. Sylvan who takes on the role of Chairman of the Board of Directors. 

Mr. Sylvan has successfully led Mobile Mark from a small 3-person start-up company in 1984 to its present day position as a leading antenna manufacturer with facilities in the US and the UK.

Michael Berry, 50, received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania.  He has 27 years experience in the electronics community including wireless test & measurement equipment, Cable TV electronics, and antenna design & application.

Mr. Berry joined Mobile Mark in 1991 and was most recently Executive Vice President of Global Operations. He has been intimately involved in the company’s evolution from a few antenna lines for CB radios and mobile phones to a broad based multi-line antenna company and industry leader in GPS fleet management, Wi-Fi, RFID and Cellular Machine-to-Machine (M2M) antenna applications.

Mobile Mark has operations in both the US and Europe.  In his new position, Michael Berry will oversee both Mobile Mark’s headquarters based in the US and the European operations based in the UK.

He is committed to managing the company through future evolutions of the wireless industry.  Mr. Berry added “There are so many possibilities for wireless applications.  We are there on the cutting edge, talking to companies who envision exciting and fascinating projects for wireless technologies.  There is no place else I would rather be.”
