Schiller Park, IL, March 16, 2009 -- Mobile Mark’s Dual Polarity RFID patch antennas incorporate both vertical and horizontal linear polarity. 

Dual polarity antennas are useful for specialized applications where traditional patch antennas would be too large.  These antennas can be used for smart shelving applications, conveyor applications and other near to mid-field uses.  They are particularly useful where the corresponding tags are in a fixed position with little variation.  As such, the antenna can be placed to maximize read rates.

The dual polarized configuration offers the smallest possible size for an RFID reader antenna.  This compact design fits into locations where conventional reader antennas will not. 

The Mobile Mark Dual Polarity RFID Antennas measure 4 ½ inches (114mm) in diameter by 1 inch (25mm) deep.  Two mounting options are available: the antennas can be mounted with double sided tape for a quick and secure mount, or they can be mounted with a versatile swivel wall mount that allows for +/- 45° adjustment.
